You’re right about the FBI. And now you’ve got to wonder about the Secret Service. The US Marshals Service stays out of the news, which I take as a good thing.
Perhaps the Marshals would be the best bet here. But of course the FBI would never give up jurisdiction. So I suppose it’s all a moot point.
Didn’t the Marshalls allow the potential Kavenaugh assassin access to his home and the only reason he was stopped was because he turned himself in to Kavanaugh’s security detail ran by the US Marshall’s?
The Marshalls also allow illegal protests and harassment of other SCOTUS constitutionalists.
