During the sham NY trial, a lot of speculation was that Trump was going to prison and he would be killed. Then talk here shifted to a direct assassination attempt on Trump.

I agree. The Trump statement was unifying bit this is exactly what I would expect from surrogates and a VP.

That paranoid schizophrenic was a political lefty while the media was describing him as a conservative Palin supporter.
I ought to know. Up until a few days before the shooting I, among others, spent years debating politics against him on the old (now defunct) yahoo political message boards. He was a liberal left Democrat. Never had any criticism for democrats, only praise. Had nothing but scorn, contempt, and hatred for anything republican.
His screen name was his first name (Jared) and his avatar was a picture of himself with a full head of hair (whereas in his mugshot, hes bald). He was quite the prolific poster. He commented at least 15 times a day, 7 days a week, for all the years I knew him.
He stopped posting only about a few days before he went on his shooting spree. Because he posted so often every single day, his absence was immediately noticed by us other regulars. Everyone was asking, “Where’s Jared? Where’s Jared?”
Then the shooting occured and afterwards it came out that the shooters name was “Jared”. And people on the board were now saying, “Is this our Jared? Could this be our Jared?” As it turned out, indeed it was. The yahoo administration immediately set about trying to delete every message, every comment he ever made on the board. But they missed quite a few. They did delete his account too, but his posts, the ones they didn’t individually delete, remained.
