What will the Russians have left to fight the Chicoms? The equipment can’t be replaced that easy. Could they be running out?
As for the dying they lost 20 million in WW2 supposedly. They seem to stick it out as they’re used to it.

I see this often as an example of how Russians win wars. I understand it against the Germans, who invaded and took a large portion of land. But to expend ANY effort against Ukraine just seems like a waste of effort.
The 20 million cost the country dearly over the next 50 years. They lost an entire generation of young Russians. Now, losing significant numbers will impact another generation—at a time when the demographics for the country are NOT good. The long term result will not be positive.
And losing tens of thousands in a trench warfare slog doesn’t seem to be good tactics for a “super power” army.
When it comes to the ChiComs the Russians have no illusions. IfChina invaded Russia it would go nuclear quickly. The Russians would have no qualms about nuking the ChiComs on Russian territory.
This war may end the Slav as a world level force.
There is no end in sight and a few million may already be dead (not to count how many million wounded (or suffering from mental issues).
There is a “yuuge” difference in losing millions of young men when your average Olga was having 5.3 kids in 1941 or today when the average is 1.4.
