I tip when I dine in a non-fast-food restaurant, and I tip the delivery driver when I order delivery. I don't tip and will NEVER tip when I order fast food or order takeout when I go and pick it up. The cashier can give me all the stink eye they want when I click -0- on the tip box. What the hell would I be tipping them for anyway? Ringing up my order? Handing me a bag? Not like they personally cooked it or anything.

It's getting insane how far tipping is expanding outside the normal areas. I was ordering a custom gaming PC for my son's birthday online, get to the checkout screen and there is an option to "tip your PC builder" suggesting 20% on a freaking $2,000 order. Now I'm worried if I tip nothing, they'll screw something up on purpose. Finally, out of frustration and annoyance, I cancel the order and go with a different company with no such option. Utterly ridiculous!

Yep - Taco Bell asks you when you place your order if you want to round up to contribute to the ‘student fund’. Sounds shady as heck but I worry they will do something to my food if I say no.
