Kudos to John Paul Jones for his organ playing.
Flame away.
LOVE THIS SONG!!!!
Soporific lethargy.
Your time is gonna to come
Because the song remains the same
Lying, cheating, hurting, that's all you seem to do
Messing around every guy in town
Putting me down for thinking of someone new
Always the same, playing your game
Drive me insane, trouble is gonna come to you
One of these days and it won't be long
You'll look for me but, baby, I'll be gone
This is all I gotta say to you, woman
Your time is gonna come
Your time is gonna come
Your time is gonna come
Your time is gonna come
Made up my mind, break you this time
Won't be so fine, it's my turn to cry
Do what you want, I won't take the brunt
It's fading away, can't feel you anymore
Don't care what you say 'cause I'm going away to stay
Going to make you pay for that great big hole in my heart
People talking all around
Watch out, woman, no longer
Is the joke gonna be on my heart
You been bad to me, woman
But it's coming back home to you
Your time is gonna come
Your time is gonna come
Your time is gonna come
Your time is gonna come
Your time is gonna come (Bye-bye, baby)
Your time is gonna come (Bye-bye, bye-bye)
Your time is gonna come
Your time is gonna come (Oh, oh, oh-oh)
Your time is gonna come
Your time is gonna come
Your time is gonna come
Let's face it, their best work was when some of them were playing for Donovan.
First on my list of groups that I regret never having seen in concert.
Damn good music.
About 10 years ago I started buying their CDs.
I understand Robert Plant has a home in Austin.
Greatest. Band. EVER!!!!
only if you aren’t trampled under foot....
and you’re able to make it in the light....
I still remember hearing that 1st LZ album. Your time is gonna come always sounded dated and safe sounding compared to the other more revolutionary tracks. It’s a great benchmark and sign of the times in rock music to include on the album though.
I agree wholeheartedly.
I regret never going to see them.
Saw them opening night at Madison Square Garden in 1977....still one of the greatest experiences of my life, next to Live Aid....
Plant was living in Austin for years when he was dating Patty Griffin....don’t know he still has a house there...
I understand Robert Plant still has a home in Austin.
Was the ‘77 performance at MSG on that video - “Song Remains The Same”?
I DVR’d “Song Remains The Same.” I save it to watch ever so often.
I agree...JPJ’s organ intro on this tune is my favorite thing on the whole album ...good call!
Was the ‘77 performance at MSG on that video - “Song Remains The Same”?

No, that was in 1973.
The Song Remains the Same was the 1973 tour- three extra nights at MSG.
That’s why songs like Kashmir, Trampled Under Foot and the mighty Achilles Last Stand are not included- they were yet to be written and recorded...
Just saw Robert Plant with Alison Krauss. Great show.
That’s right. I remember now.
I really missed out. Never saw Zeppelin, Stones, nor Elton John in concert. I’m sure there are a few others that I’m forgetting. But Led Zeppelin is definitely my biggest regret.
???
Who could possibly have done 'Achilles Last Stand' before them? Who?
