Rarely go the movies but saw this film. It was refreshing. Getting praise from faith-based and secular critics alike. Glad it’s doing well overseas also.

I knew nothing about the first film when I took my granddaughter to see the sequel last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised.

There is a wonderful scene in Nutcracker in which the shelkunchik pulls out his 44 and shoots Mickey (the mouse HMFIC) between the eyes. If I were Peter Tchaikovsky, it wouldn’t just be Mickey; Walt, Donald Duck, Spin, Marty, and Annette Fornichello would also be there and the shelkunchik would fan the pistol like Clint Eastwood does and blow all of them away...
