Russia said on Wednesday that its military was still working to create a "buffer zone" in Ukraine's Kharkiv region but this would take time.
President Vladimir Putin said in May that Russia was creating a buffer to protect its border regions, especially Belgorod which lies adjacent to Kharkiv, from Ukrainian attacks.
"Of course, the realisation of this task is time-consuming, it takes time. Work in this direction is under way," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters when asked how long it would take for Russia to guarantee the security of Belgorod.

Where is your little, olive green, dancing dictator running around these days?đ
So, we finally get to see what you look like! đđđ
You are one sick individual. Why don’t you post some Russian soldier’s bodies blown to pieces also?
Itâs over. Russia has won. The only thing left is formal negotiations.
“You are one sick individual.”
Agree. These pictures are despicable.
Yeah and Hamas is winning against Israel.
Each day that passes in this proxy war means more senseless deaths and destruction for Ukrainians. If we really cared about the people of Ukraine, we would be working earnestly on a ceasefire and a negotiated settlement.
Russia is not going to give up Crimea or the separatist region of the Donbass. Nor will they allow Ukraine to be a member of NATO. Russia shares a 1,400 mile border with Ukraine. They arenât going anywhere.
The biggest SECRET of Ukraine-Russia war.
There are more ukrainians in Russia, than in Ukraine.
20’000’000 - population of Ukraine.
40’000’000 - ukrainian surnames in Russia.
10’000’000 - direct family ties.
5’000’000 - ukrainian refugees in Russia.I
still trying to figure out this war... so... Russia is trying to save the Russian people living in the eastern part of Ukraine... by destroying all of their cities, homes and businesses?
Eastern Ukraine is a wasteland now
Your Putinâs war is a big flop. Hang your head in shame.
Scratch a Russian, find a Mongol.
Well, Russians aren't genetically Mongols, but they adopted the Mongol business model 600 years ago and have never changed since then.

There's always been an underlying genocidal tone among many of the Ukraine's agitators. They've sneered, "the only good Russian is a dead Russian" and used dehumanizing terms like "Orcs" to describe them. The Western Ukrainians feel no remorse shelling civilians in Eastern Ukraine because many there are of Russian descent. THey really can't comprehend our objections to dehumanizing content. In a way, they remind me of the account of Khomeini having support among Iranians up until he gleefully ran his fingers through the ashes of the bodies of dead US soldiers who had tried to rescue hostages; his behavior and insane cackling appalled his own base. I think it's such a departure from Western values we stop and stare - but they revel in this kind of ghoulishness.
The Ukraine's Banderites seem to have steeped the Nazi notion of 'ethnic purity' into some core organizing principles, like the Ukraine's Constitution:

WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! https://mobile.twitter.com/REVMAXXING/status/1581441449811267584Â Â At this point, the Ukraine has lost and continues to pour conscripts into the meat grinder. It may be that as the defeat of the Ukraine becomes undeniable, it'd driving their supporters further and faster past decency.
You are pathetic!
He could have had a âbuffer zoneâ of friendly nations surrounding Russia *if only* he would have been a good neighbor and stayed in his yard.
But ⌠he didnât(!) and, as it is now, heâs going to get everything he said he doesnât want, including missile attacks on Moscow to match his attacks on Kyiv if he doesnât stop his madness, pick up his toys and go back home.
