On July 4 around 10 p.m., a fire engulfed the home of Adriana Hernández and her parents. That was just the beginning of a devastating and traumatic night for Adriana.
Captured in a cell phone video, Adriana can be seen trying to run towards her father amidst the chaos in Huntington Park. Officers quickly blocked her path.
A bystander yells, "Hey, hey, hey! She lives here."
Suddenly, a female officer punches Adriana in the face.

But my goodness, incidents like this one are driving a wedge between the police and the citizenry. Bad times are ahead. We can’t afford that.
And a side note to the bad cops: Cameras are everywhere now. Everywhere. Do something crazy, and the whole world will know.
Hard fact, police are only as decent as the government that controls them. when you are ruled by thugs you are “policed” by their thugs.
With actions like this towards the citizens coupled with the mass “Just following Orders”, why exactly are we supposed to have trust in the police???
And that’s not by accident.
It’s by design.
We don’t know if she randomly punched her. She could have punched in retaliation for getting punched.
YouTube will show lots a sh*tty cops, doing sh*tty stuff and think that’s good.
But there are lots of video of the “victim” crying from the mountain tops about mistreatment and abuse, showing certain snippets. The public then gets the full video showing something completely different.
We aren’t.
We’re just supposed to obey.
I have to wonder if this Female officer was on transitioning drugs.
Female cops out of control. The girl is lucky she wasn’t shot
> …why exactly are we supposed to have trust in the police??? <
That’s a fair question. As I noted earlier, I think most cops are decent. But maybe 15% are bad, really bad. That number is way too high.
After all, suppose there’s a dental practice where 15% of the dentists there deliberately make your problems worse. Who would trust such a practice?
They aren’t thugs. They are good people just following the orders of thugs

Yes, all the facts aren’t out yet. So we need to be aware that things can change. But I checked multiple sites before posting. The woman was distraught, and trying to reach her father. A few cops tried to restrain her. Given that there was a fire, that was probably a good idea. That that female officer walked up and just socked her.
A retired detective has already taken the victim’s side. I think that’s significant.
She interfered in a fire. Her Dad was OK.The Fireman sometimes have to call the cops.
Nully has the appropriate graphics for that.
> She interfered in a fire. <
Agreed. She was distraught. Who wouldn’t be? No matter. Her behavior made the firemen’s job more difficult. And that’s why a group of police officers restrained her. No problem there.
What is a problem is that another officer came on the scene, and punched the woman in the face.
The cop’s side of the story went entirely unreported, yet the FR cop haters are rushing to judgment.
Get out of here with your moderate, well reasoned opinions. I came to this thread for frothing outrage.
A lot of damage and pain is caused by people “just doing their job” ... as if that excuses their behavior.
You've got that right.
Life in America was American when the stereotypical cop on the "beat" was the portly, laid back donut-muncher.
Didn't need much more to keep an eye on things.
