I was listening to some cop that said the problem with Fentanyl now-a-days is “quality control”. Seriously! He said the demand is so high now that they don’t take the time to crush it up well enough or to mix it well enough with the other drugs.

They’ll find bags of cocaine or pills and when they test them the levels of fentanyl are all over the place. Even pill to pill. One pill might have a trace of it, and the other pill has 10x the deadly level.

Drug dealing involves serious levels of risk, attracts mostly the dregs, people not known for attention to detail or scruples. People who buy anything other than pharmacy grade drugs are taking serious quality control risks on top of the already high risk of abusing narcotic drugs where fatal overdoses are a possibility. People who need a chemical boost should stick to caffeine or alcohol.
