A friend of mine knows an owner to one of these hotels and he said the hotels will be paid by NYC for all renovations after the illegals leave the hotel.

...the hotels will be paid by NYC for all renovations after the illegals leave the hotel.That assumes that they actually do leave the hotels. I doubt that will ever happen.
