Interesting... They’re not Kosher because that requires not using dairy products which is a main ingredient in their fried chicken coating (they do have a Kosher version of their recipe and have had some KFCs offered the Kosher version but they’re ultimately not successful).

To be Halal all that’s required is for a Muslim priest to certify the chicken producer stuns the chickens before slaughter. That’s probably a requirement overall in Ontario (humane slaughter of animals) so... instant Halal.

What dairy products? When I was working for them, the coating consisted of flour, salt, pepper, and the 11 different herbs and spices that came in an aluminized bag a little larger than your hand.
