What’s ruining bars in Canada... The cost of booze... Beer and drink prices are north of $7 per drink... And sometimes up around $14 for one drink... That’s insane and the bar businesses in Canada are going bust because of it.

I've been on fishing trips to western Ontario. Our party went to a halfway decent restaurant for that part of Canada. The food was reasonably priced. I took a look at their wine list. A $5 bottle of cheap wine in the US was $35.

There’s a reason we don’t go out to eat or drink. For one, we don’t drink. Second, the cost and tip for a single drink would feed the family all day with good home cooking that you know what’s in it and no one coughed or spit in it and I don’t need a sign telling me to wash my potty hands.
