There is a lot of slip and fall fraud in Florida. Just putting that out there.

I tripped on the turned up carpet in the lobby of a major hotel chain, fell and fractured my hip, which then required a full joint replacement.

It never occurred to me to sue for medical costs (I’m on Medicare) or pain and suffering or any of the other usual BS.

Since the hotel never bothered to even check to see how I was doing, I’m kinda thinking maybe I should have.
