True, both could have been driving too fast. But it’s interesting that apparently the Dodge went out of control, and had three fatalities, while the Infinity had no injuries. I know I’ve been passed by Dodge Charger that were easily running 120 mph or higher.

That seems the most likely.

After the collision “The Charger left the road and struck multiple tree stumps.”. It had to be really moving to have enough energy left to take out more than one stump.

Of course I’m assuming that it hit more or less head on and sheared/uprooted the stumps, it might have ‘just’ sideswiped them...

Also, if the Charger was traveling at ludicrous speed the impaired Infinity driver may have fatally misjudged the space available to dart across traffic lanes to the exit ramp.
