I always thought the explanation of Joe’s stuttering was very conspicuously odd. His career was out in the public eye (to a nauseating degree) and there was a lot of video available to show that he did not stutter. Then suddenly his campaign in 2020 announces how proud he was to have overcome his childhood stuttering. As if that was ever an issue. I always found that odd, and I think they were either trying to open up a sympathetic reaction or to develop preemptive cover for speaking problems he was only recently developing - perhaps Parkinson’s related. In any event - they have managed the information and the perception of his medical issues and their manifestations, and they need to be held accountable.
