The 50 number is real. And it is insignificant. I know people thought it went to zero. It did not. If an oldster dies after testing positive, and had relentlessly decreasing blood oxygen level as he approached death, any rational doc will declare that a Covid death. This is largely in accordance with WHO norms. The attending physician makes a call that cause of death was substantially Covid.
Numbers tiny. A variant could change that at any time.
