I have been a USAA customer for nearly 40 years. Never thought to compare with other insurance companies as I just assumed I was getting superior rates. But maybe I will start doing that.
I have not had any trouble with the USAA bank, but I don’t keep a lot of money there. Also their claims dept has been top notch. But the last claim I filed was many years ago.
One thing that does tick me off is their commercials since 2020 or so. Yet another company who thinks its acceptable to make White men look like idiots.
Seriously....invest an hour or two of you life calling around to some other major insurance providers....
You will save youself thousands.
I used to think the exact same way you did....you know “I have USAA..I can’t get any better than that!”
Then they pissed me off bad on a legit claim I made for a busted windshield a few years back, and that gave me the motivation to look elsewhere.
When I did...I couldn’t’ believe how much better other major insurance carriers were...
Same insurance...much cheaper...etc.
