I really enjoy putting myself into a role as a history restorationist.

Because we work through LibriVox we get tens of thousands and it will end up being hundreds of thousands (and more) of listeners if it isn’t already, bringing teaching people about the goodness of early America to people in a way that is both efficient and easily accessible.; and worth mentioning, free of charge. Nobody is selling anything here.

FWIW, current public domain projects we have in the works (with more planned) include:

1) A bio of Patrick Henry
2) Autobiography of Benjamin Rush
3) A collection of biographies in short sketches about every signer of the Declaration
4) A massive work about America’s Christian heritage titled “Christian Life and Character of the Civil Institutions of the United States”
5) A three volume set that includes large sections about America’s Founding Mothers
6) A bio of John Hancock

In looking at some of the responses here, some relevant completed works brought into audio include:

A Narrative of Colonel Ethan Allen’s Captivity (by Ethan Allen)

The Colored Patriots of the American Revolution (Has a large section about Crispus Attucks)

The Federalist Papers

See keyword freeperbookclub for many more. Franklin, Locke, Washington, Paine, Jefferson, S. Adams, and Governor Bradford’s “Plymouth Plantation” are among the many.

We do also have audio books not related to the Founding per-se but highly important, including Bastiat, De Tocqueville, Hayek, and Senator Joseph McCarthy.

Not gonna lie, I could complete these faster with additional involvement.

I wish I still had the lesson plans from when I was homeschooling my children. They knew all about the American Revolution, the Declaration of Independence, the three charges up Breed Hill, and more.

Keep going! There is a need for this information to become mainstream again.
