The victim gave him his “special needs”, alright.
My son is on the spectrum.
He never went around damaging people’s property.
He/we were still accountable for his actions.
If anyone said, “I’m sorry, we will pay to fix it,” this would have ended differently.
A mentally ill child who does $500 worth of damage when he is allowed out in public should be confined to his home or one run by the state.
And the proper statement for the sister is, “sorry, I’ll make sure he won’t do it again, and our parents will pay for your damage.”
Define autism, everything and everyone is on a spectrum, it pays the bills for a LOT of people on welfare.
