There’s quality cruises available just not Carnival.....we went on maybe two when we first started cruising and that was the end of that.

We did a Carnival cruise in the mid-’80s. It was AWFUL! Never again. IIRC, the dining room was set up like picnic tables and benches. There were holes in the walls between cabins. Definitely slumming.
