Cause is moldy chicken, not fish. I thought that the pilot and co-pilot ate different meals to prevent this.

We regret any inconvenience the sudden cabin movement might have caused, this is due to periodic air pockets we encountered, there's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you enjoy the rest of your flight... I got food poisoning eating chicken on an American Airlines flight last year. And I had to drive an hour after the flight to get to my destination. It was one of the worst experiences I had in recent memory.

I seem to recall ‘rules’ in place decades ago that required pilots to eat in different restaurants or from different sources to avoid this scenario....
