Translating for all here- from years of understanding from lifetime in the South, understanding this street patois, as well as the almost untranslateable jargon/speak known as “busstop” (from the days when house maids took the bus in to the neighborhood for their work. A form of gullah and geechee from SC.)
It’s a cultural thing— had the .... scared out of him by a booby trap.
And video protects castle doctrine- in this case a rocksalt booby trap the owner says clearly “learned about those in the Marine Corps...m——fer!”
Owner is not going to jail. Documentation would stand up, and it was not deadly force- dude got wood slivers in his rear end.
