All the rest is chaff.
Ukraine does not talk about its casualties while publishing what they think are Russian casualties. The Russian MOD flat out lies about Ukrainian, losses, by reporting Ukraine losing more equipment and men than they have. Both sides play propaganda games over the "kill count".
What makes the Ukrainian claims of high Russian losses more credible is simple. If Ukraine has been losing at the same rate or more than Russia, Russia would have would have been at the Polish and Romanian borders in a month after the invasion started. After Kharkiv and Kherson took back most of what Russia did not already control, Russia has taken less than 100 square miles, at a far greater cost than Ukraine.
Those loses for such small results favor Ukraine. Your opinion over that is irrelevant.
Oryx reported from OSINT that Russia was losing 2.75 times as much combat equipment and vehicles as Ukraine. Russia has lost ships, AEW aircraft, a few fifth generation Su-57s, high tech gear Russia doesn't have.
The Kyiv post reported Zelensky claiming current Russian casualties are 6:1, and are usually around 4:1.
Andrew Perpetua has taken off where Oryx left off, and he keeps finding consistently higher Russian losses.
Russian losses are so high they are getting in the way of making real gains on the front. Putin is sacrificing Russia's military for the next 20 years, while getting nothing to show for it.
