Early voting hurts Dems. Consider this, if Biden refuses to resign.

September 16/20, first votes. By October, maybe millions.

Biden resigns, what a mess, do they vote for someone not on the ballot?

Say the fix the ballot for the rest of the states. Maybe we get this (and for this lets say Dems cumulative get more votes):

Trump, 75 million

Harris, 40 million

Biden, 40 million

Dems cannot win with split ballot, votes cast for Biden cannot be recast or assigned to Harris.

Many states are winner take all. Trump could win 50 states!

Good point—they need to settle this no later than their convention.

My view is that Biden is not a decision-maker here. The notion that Biden’s consent is needed is a comforting myth for folks who don’t take the Deep State seriously.

Whatever is going to happen he will not be asked, he will be told—if necessary by men with guns.

“votes cast for Biden cannot be recast or assigned to Harris.”

No votes are cast for the nominees. Votes are cast for electors.
