The roof where the shooter was located was off to the side (audience’s left, Trump’s right) around 150 yards away. The roof was NOT covered by SS apparently. How can that happen.
anybody with a little shooting or hunting experience, let alone any military experience, knows that 150 ya rds is not a huge distance for any typical scoped rifle. In fact, I’ve shot at 500 yards with open sights once, 200 yards more often.
Basically, the scuttlebutt on X is that this was a planned event, but it failed.

Now it is proven that the SS cannot protect Trump. He came 1/4 of being assassinated. He is the CiC, and the military knows it. I think some major shakeup/intervention will happen very soon. Maybe something even Q-ish.
