I had a thought. Re Jill (or Xaviera Hollander, as I prefer to call her) "trolling the cabal": Is there any chance you might've meant to put a "for" in there? Namely, "trolling for the cabal"?

'Cause if she's "trolling the cabal", that would sorta look like she's working for the WHs.
