I've probably overstepped a FRethical line by sharing Cenk Uygur here, but please give this one some latitude because its a case of Lefties-Losing-It news. Thank you. Apparently the Biden family met to discuss whether or not he should drop out of the 2024 Presidential race, Cenk Uygur breaks it down for The Young Turks.

The convention rules are such, that the delegates MUST vote for the one they represent in the first round of voting. He’s got more than half of the delegates (a lot more!) so he will (must be) elected in the first round.
The delegates are free to vote for whomever they desire in the following rounds, if nobody gets over 50% vote.
But there will not be second round!
At this point, only Joe can resign, the convention is otherwise bound to nominate him!
I guess, he is Turk, but he is not young anymore.

Obama has made it very clear that he wants a fourth term and has told the Bidens that Joe is staying in the running with this tweet.
Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself. Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight — and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit.
