One has to ask why would police bother? They would go in to the situation and potentially kill a “poor unarmed black man” and all hell would break loose and the cops would be prosecuted.
OR, they would arrest the “poor unarmed black man” and all hell would break loose and the perp would be released with all charges dropped.
One of my guilty pleasures is watching (listening to while I work) police cam videos. Perps will assault cops and judges almost always drop felonious assault on a police officer charges. Then we hear about Alvin Bragg dropping all charges against terrorists rioting on colleges. Why be a cop?
I’m always a little puzzled as to the dynamics of these abusive relationships. Beats me why the victims often remain very close to the abusers, refuse to pursue charges, make up excuses for the injuries inflicted on them, blame themselves for provoking the abuser. I’ve read that it’s a very complex issue and the victims can literally have the notion that they are worthless and deserving of the abuse for any number of x,y, and z reasons. They hold onto the notion to stay because its better for the kids who witness and learn bad lessons from it. They hope it will get better if only, if only....
Sad beyond belief.
The guy was arrested for assaulting her previously, as well as a cop. The Judge in that matter let him out with an ankle bracelet on no cash bail. This family needs to go after that Judge. The cops did their job when they arrested him the last time. The Judge is guilty of assisting that animal to kill that pregnant girl.
