Considering that allowing blacks to vote has arguably made a greater difference, do you see anything wrong with your position at all?
Actually, Blacks were prevented from voting due to Jim Crow laws. Even when they were able to vote in large numbers starting in the 1960s, they are mostly concentrated in urban strongholds and they are only 13% of the population today.
Regarding "democracy", perhaps we should go to Starship Troopers' political system where only "citizens" can vote, not civilians.
