I think he’s politicking.
His statement was an effort to endear himself to Nikki Haley voters, the Chamber of Commerce, west coast tech CEOs, and some segment of immigrants.
The danger is many neocon republicans would do this in Congress in exchange for their war priorities.
I don’t know how much more Donald Trump has to do to show these people what a TO THE CORE RINO he is.
From his war to drive Conservatives from the Republican Party & Congress to supporting abortion and amnesty for illegals.
If they think he will “drain the swamp” and deport the 13+ million illegal aliens that have flooded this country, their delusional to the nth degree, because Donald Trump and his RINO buddies won’t.
