I think the rural voters are being sarcastic in their responses for the poll. It’s not what I see where I am, by a long shot.

I haven't been to university in quite some time, but even back when I was there, the professional programs and science/eng/arch/technical colleges were intensive, immersive, and field relevant, but the liberal arts colleges (education, philosophy, journalism, social sciences) were all a bunch of pointless muck and leftist drivel. 4 years of brainwashing
