Nordstream didn’t “torpedo” the German economy.

An exercise for you - do the work - what financial effect did the switch from Russian NG to LNG have? What effect did this, the provable financial difference, have on German GDP?

Dont just say things, prove them.

If Germany is a “bitch proxy state” then so is every country on earth. Thats a bizarre statement.

LNG is expensively liquified with refrigeration and delivered via ships, not pipelines and is inherently more expensive than a dedicated NG pipeline. Germany’s energy costs went up with LNG.

Unfortunately, I think he is right.

Still, it might not have been the best tactic: if your allies or proxies fear you, they will desert you in a conflict as soon as the going gets tough.

It is a cruel irony that you can enslave or annihilate someone (or a people), but you will never be able to force them to love, or merely to appreciate, you.
