My wife and I and all of our siblings and first cousins only have 2 kids.
We have real degrees or great trade school training.
Nobody vacations in any Disney b$ places.

My paternal grandparents had eight kids.
Grandad was a farmer. Grandma was a stay at home mom.
Deep State has done its damdest to ensure that doesn’t happen anymore.

Anyone raising any number of kids, especially these days has both my respect and admiration.
I just wish they didn’t have the state doing everything it can to make it hard for parents to do it.
We had three children. Mrs. Chandler stayed home to raise them. We drove our cars up to 257,000 miles, prepared our meals at home, opted for an above ground over an inground pool, and bought our clothes at KMart/Walmart/Pennys half price sales. I drove used cars to commute to work and brown-bagged my lunch.
One child has given us two grandchildren, one has given us five, and one is just getting started.
It is possible to afford children; it’s just a matter of the choices you make.
