It isn't society that refuses to acknowledge it, it's Leftists, including Leftists in the medical industry itself.
The mentally ill such as those with Gender Dysphoria will not get help when the medical community denies their illness and instead drugs and mutilates them.
At some point society will need to face the truth that the medical industry is filled with the mentally ill as well. Drugging and mutilating patients with Gender Dysphoria is sicker than prescribing diet pills and performing liposuction on patients with Anorexia.
