I was just watching an Antiques Roadshow episode this morning on YouTube where they reviewed some of the best “finds” over the years.
The best story IMHO was a Federal style wooden hall table the lady bought for $35. It was built by some famous furniture maker in Boston in the 1700s.
It was later auctioned by Sotheby’s for over $500,000.

There’s an obscure carving on the bottom of the middle drawer that says “The Secret Lies With Charlotte”.
