It's never too late to replace Crooked Joe. The question is how late can they do it and still hang onto the White House, and there's no clear answer to that. All the current media jabber about rejuvenating The Resistance Part Deux is mostly trial balloons for the contingency in which they can't manage the latter.

Running away from Joe's record might be more difficult. Current polls, as far as you can trust them, suggest that the media effort to gaslight the country into thinking the economy's fine, the border is secure, and the world is more peaceful, has failed utterly. So which policies is the New Kid going to change, or rather, which ones can that New Kid safely depart from in order to appeal to a jaded electorate? That's going to complicate the problem of selecting a new one without falling into the More Of The Same trap. Self inflicted wound, IMHO.

What happens if Biden withdraws after the convention?

To fill a vacancy on the national ticket, the DNC chair can call a “special meeting” of the full Democratic National Committee, which includes about 500 members. On paper, at least, all it takes is a majority vote of those present to pick a new presidential and vice presidential nominee. But that process would likely be anything but smooth, and be filled with behind-the-scenes jockeying and public pressure campaigns.

If a vacancy were to occur close to the November election, however, it could raise constitutional, legal and practical concerns. Among other issues, ballots have to be printed well in advance of the election and may not be able to be changed in time.

It doesn't matter who is printed on any ballots anyway. All that matters is who controls the machines that 'count' them

The debate will happen. They will pump him full of the special juice. If he starts screaming to Xanadu, there is still time to dump him before/at the convention. If he appears somewhat normal, that will be the last debate between Trump and Biden. The Ds will try to run out the clock, and not debate Trump because he is a felon, blah blah blah.

Dems will swap out whomever they want, whenever they want regardless of law or votes or anything. Corrupt institutions can do that when a corrupt press and corrupt courts are in full bloom.

I do not believe that an election for president decided by default. But is should be interesting. I've heard that the debate will make or break Biden & determine if he remains the Democrat's candidate.

Question is, will a nuclear war be started to take the election completely off the table?

What is with everyone pushing Michelle Obama. The chance of her running, is .0001%. She is not interested. She has done nothing for it, she has made very clear that she is not interested. She has no history to make her even remotely viable. More likely that Hillary Clinton would step in or Newsom or Whitmere. Everyone pushing Obama is not only wasting their time but are missing out on who likely could be the choice.

I don’t think it would be too hard, as long as Dr. Jill can be convinced. They could say that he has just been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease (his stiff mannerisms, slurred speech, and frozen moments are similar to what a friend of mine experiences with his Parkinson’s) and he believes it is in the best interest of the country for him to drop out and that he releases all his delegates. The hard part will be passing over Kamala Harris.

I’ve been wondering about this in general - there’s certain logistical realities that must happen to replace him. Most of those will be coming to pass...

Someone mentioned Roy Cooper (governor of North Carolina) recently. Not well known, but has good hair.

Maybe... Maybe not...

But it’s way too late for them to dump their poisonous politics and insane ideologies. And we have Looong memories.

Even if they have to wheel biden in like the lady recently wheeling in the dead guy to try to get a bank loan, and Jill physically move his arm to have him raise his hand for oath while Jill try to be a ventriloquist to make it seem he is speaking, they will keep on with their evil plans.
