Also, the highest efficiency is achieved with a combined cycle gas turbine generating electricity for EV’s.

The funny thing is that was the original rationale for EVs - clean the urban air. It also had the ancillary benefit of using the huge amount of excess generating capacity at night when people are asleep so you got better asset utilization of power plants. The notion of “decarbonizing” the economy had t even been conceived.
