Personally, I always liked the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy as my favorite superhero movies.

Yup. The X-Men have always been a stand-in for any group on the “outside”, especially ones that get targeted for violence. Jews mostly to start with, being created mostly by Jews that lived through WWII. But every X-Man writer has always talked about the “any group” aspect. This became more so when Chris Claremont took over in the 80s and really cranked the Sentinel Wars “let’s kill mutants” plotlines cranked into over drive. He straight up said gays were in the list of outside groups the X-Men represented.

“Queer” is just a BS term made for people who want all the benefits of being gay but don’t take it up the rectum.

I saw this movie and didn’t think it was gay. A little stupid and farfetched maybe, but gay? No.
My favorite was X-Men: Days of the Future Passed. Still, I don’t want to see gays or lesbians. Just shut up and act!

Mutants were the 60’s version of homosexuals.
Stan Lee even said so himself.
