The ‘food industry’, as it pertains to magazines and all manner of cooking shows on tv, has become just like the fashion industry - Gotta keep promoting new things in order to make money, no matter how ridiculous they are. And just like in the fashion industry, there’s no shortage of consumers who will jump on board with every ridiculous trend or ridiculous new idea.
