The poles have been shifting, and some speculate a full blown reversal at some point in the future. If so the magnetic poles are shifting, I would assume that could create some sort of drag on the spinning core. Earth's Magnetic Field.
I’ve been following that guy on YouTube who says the earth’s magnetic field is weakening in preparation for a pole shift, which is why we are being more strongly affect by solar flares and storms. Pole shifts have happened before, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility —- could shift a few hundred miles, or could be a total pole reversal. Could happen within 25 years, or 2500. 💁🏼♀️
