Best new things for computers-
-NVME drives. Everything moves faster.
-Windows 11
-Browsers like Edge and Chromes keep improving, and same for the extensions you add. I use 5-6 extensions.
I use Firefox which I like. With adguard, it allows viewing without being plastered with ads. My main os is Linux, but I do dual boot into windows 10 (soon to be 11) too though.
One thing I noticed is that in windows os, the fans always seem to be running pretty hard at times, well, not always, but often, while in Linux they hardly ever do.
I’m not one os over another, but just find thst Linux is all I really need for online stuff, while windows I need for things like photoshop, rebelle painting program, photography etc. The dual boot is a decent solution for me, but I need to dual boot from separate hard drives instead of from one, as backing up dual boot with 2 different os’s is very hard- something always seems to go wrong. I usually have to restore windows only, then Linux backup, then I have to use “bootfix” to reinstall grub boot menu again. Although, cloning the HD with a disk duplicator device does work perfectly though.
