“””””How could he have stopped her?”””””

Actually he even paid for it, showing his support.

As far being persuasive, as the father of the baby, as her boyfriend, and as a retired Colonel and politician, and in a position that would normally mean her fiancé, he seems to have some room and capabilities to persuade people and especially his own lover and mother of his child.

He might well have been unable to stop her, but paying for it makes him complicit. Justifying it by saying it enables her to go and live her best life is absurd: he should have said he offered to marry her, to help her in any way he could, to take the baby if she didn’t want to raise him or her, but she went off and had the abortion.

I am not saying he didn’t say those things in private to her, but just what he has said publicly does not show himself to be a good pro-life Catholic, and the fact that he had sex with her is also sinful.

Basically, he is showing himself to be not pro-life, not a good Catholic, and not much of a man, more like a worm, to be honest.
