.....Amid the ongoing campaign for the 2024 U.S. presidential elections, a billboard in Miami has sparked significant controversy on social media. The advertisement, funded by the group Mad Dog PAC, displays an image of former President Donald Trump alongside the late Cuban leader Fidel Castro, with the message “No to Dictators, No to Trump.”
The comparison has outraged Trump supporters, who contend that it is inappropriate to equate the former Republican president with Fidel Castro. They argue that, unlike Castro who seized power through armed struggle, Trump was democratically elected by the citizens of the United States.
Although the creators of the billboard might have thought they were being clever using Fidel Castro as a wedge to break off Cuban American support for Trump, it has had the opposite effect. Not only will it fail in convincing Cuban Americans to vote for Biden, the billboard is deeply offensive. Despite decades of running headfirst into the same political wall, Florida Democrats still do not understand Cuban Americans and believe they are just a minority group that can be bullied and intimidated into submission.
And that’s just the minor insult of this offensive billboard. The most offensive part is that it shows once again that Democrats have no understanding and no sympathy for the suffering Cubans have endured under communism. Comparing a duly elected president to a self-appointed dictator who murdered thousands of men, women, and children and enslaved an entire nation is an insult to the Cuban American community and puts the tone deafness of Florida Democrats on full display.
Cuban American journalist and radio personality Ninoska Perez Castellon explains this perfectly in a post on X:

You are not insulting Donald Trump nor are you anti dictator, you are cheap democrat propaganda. You are insulting the thousands of victims of Fidel Castro in South Florida. Those whose dads were shot in front of the firing squad without a trial, those whose mothers, fathers, uncles, & grandparents languished for decades in prison, the children murdered in the intentional sinking of the tugboat 13 de marzo, the American citizens pulverized in international airspace by Castro MiGs and each and every Cuban that lost their freedom, their country and suffered family separation because of Fidel Castro. Good luck getting votes with that.
If anyone is wondering why the Florida Democrat Party has been relegated to obscurity in Florida, this is a prime example.

The Empire of Eunuchs: How the Republican Party Betrayed America describes the failure of Republicans to confront the Left and the Democrat Party from the perspective of a conservative, America-First, traditionalist who has himself run for office. Rather than challenge the vicious Left and meet sword with sword, Republicans cowered, ran for cover, or even worse, enabled them, thus making it worse. They have won just as many elections as Democrats at the national level and far more at the state level, over the last four decades, yet the country is dismally broken, culturally, morally, and financially. The author reviews the pitiable path the Republicans have chosen, defines also the horrendous depravity of the Left, and then offers, in the final section, a direction forward for conservatives – and the country.
