Mucho gracias Thinden,
I’m back now after 2 times through a washing machine to remind me to act my age (62). A washing machine in kayaker whitewater parlance is like low flow dam that spin cycles one into thanking God for helmets and PFDs. Mental note for next
time try like hell to stay in boat.
And so one of my favorite movie quotes
“but I’m much better now.”
Beating ones self up in a crick full of rocks has never caught my eye. Besides I haven’t yet seen a kayak that I could actually get into. Whenever I’m confronted with a pile of rocks with water running thru them my main impulse is to bring over a bulldozer and straighten the whole thing out. Same thing with mountains. They need to be flattened.
Hope you enjoyed your time away.
You’ve been doing a great job!
Glad to hep out.
