But here’s part of my problem with putting chicks in Subforce. Let’s assume they’re more or less normal young gals who do what women do. Every now and then they have to get rid of stuff. On a sub the only way to do that is with the Garbage Disposal Unit (GDU), located in the galley, and uses 400 psi air to blow a bag of trash straight down. Subs don’t pack extra 5” Navy rounds to weigh down detritus. Maybe now, with chicks aboard, they load a bag of rocks to deal with such things?
But a month’s worth of dumpings from just one gal might leave a sniff trail that half the sharks in the AOO could find. It would be super inconvenient for a sub to be located by the 600 or so sharks following it.
I well remember, back in the 60’s, when the Seagulls found one of our subs by riding the floating antenna. Could see the white line in the water from a satellite. The first fix from COMSUBPAC was to make up tiny little signs for the antenna that said “No Roosting, Riding, or Hitch hiking.”
It would be totally accurate, and it IS a term of endearment. If you didn't, the squids would think you are up to something.
