Is there a solution to this problem? (other than Apple?)
The Recall feature for Windows 11 that takes pictures every 30 seconds is supposed to have a opt-out option. But you know how that works. Apple’s new phones in 2024 won’t have a “Recall” feature, but they do introduce something called Apple Intelligence. Apple Intelligence is the name for the OpenAI ChatGPT overlay that will be part of their operating system. Apple has said that ChatGPT will only be user activated and Apple will have no access to the user data, but nevertheless people are suspicious since the former NSA Director is now on the Board of Directors of OpenAI.
Android phones are already using Google AI and in the future they will probably upgrade to a new version of Google Gemini. Gemini is the new AI recently released that was soundly mocked for not recognizing white people. AI is here to stay and the solution is not to play (Wargames nod)
