Before he knew it they had him in Brisbane at Mercy, a fine hospital run by the Anglican church. They got his leg set, in a cast and up to a room double quick. The bad news was that he would have to spend the night before the Flying Doctor could return him to his sheep station.
Before long, one of the Anglican sisters came by to check on him. "Is there anything I can get you sir?" she asked.
"I suppose a tall Victoria Bitter is right out so might I have a cup of tea?"
"Certainly sir, but I must inform you that we are out of regular tea. We do have a very nice tea made from Koala fur. I know it sounds awful but it is quite good." "Well, I suppose that if that is all there is, I will try it."
The sister brought him a small pot straight away. When he looked there were Koala hairs floating around in his cup. "Sister, there's hairs in me tea." "Yes sir, that is how it's made." "Can you get a tea strainer and remove them?"
The sister looked at the shepherd with great sorrow. "I'm sorry sir, the Koala tea of Mercy is not strained."

I’ll have to use aircraft terminology rather than proper nautical terms here...
I’m afraid you have just exceeded the local Speed of sound and are now operating in super groaner flight. Be alert for possible control reversal in certain maneuvers and avoid “sonic boom” creation in heavily populated areas.
LOL! Great one!
Just checking in after my grandson’s birthday party, so no time to think of a quality response (as if I ever have one!) right now.
But wanted to say I remember a flying Doctor drama on Canadian TV when I was a kid, probably the fifties. It was pretty cool, IIRC.
Funnier response, with luck, when my brain clears.
So you may never hear from me again!
Okay, I was checking out food prices, considering the inflation we’ve experienced the past couple of years. I was gobsmacked to find that a slice of apple pie costs $2.50 in Jamaica and $3.00 in the Bahamas.
Obviously, these are the pie rates of the Caribbean.
