Cuban Americans in Miami say no to communism, put up their own billboard in support of Donald Trump

https://www.periodicocubano.com/cubanos-en-miami-financian-valla-publicitaria-en-apoyo-a-donald-trump/

Translated excerpt with translator comments:

Cubans residing in Miami have funded a new billboard supporting Donald Trump, the former president and current presidential candidate for the Republican Party.

This billboard, located on the Palmetto Expressway, replaces a previous one of similar size that compared Trump to Fidel Castro, labeling both as dictators. The previous sign caused controversy and outrage among much of the Cuban exile community. In response, they coordinated to put up a billboard in favor of the real estate mogul, who has a residence in South Florida.

“We will have our BILLBOARD. Without help from politicians, grants, or lobbyists, paid for by everyday Cuban Americans. The billboard from the heart fighting against the billboard of the devil,” said Cuban José Alberto on his Twitter account.

The new billboard displays the message “No to communism, yes to Trump” in white letters on a blue background. On the right side, the design includes an image of the Republican candidate.
*********

After a liberal PAC put up an offensive billboard in Miami comparing Donald Trump to communist dictator Fidel Castro, Cuban Americans have responded with one of their own. Taking into account the long history of prominent Democrats supporting and defending Cuba’s murderous dictatorship, Cuban Americans have put up a billboard that says “No to communism, yes to Trump.”

Unlike the offensive billboard put up by a pro-Democrat political action committee funded by wealthy liberals and based in Washington D.C., this billboard is being paid for by regular voters in Miami.

As if FJB couldn’t compromise our security even more:

Leaked documents reveal FAA gave Cuban communist officials tours of U.S. airports

Translated excerpt with translator’s comments:

While echoes of the controversial visit by Cuban government officials to Miami airport are still resonating, it has come to light that another delegation toured U.S. airports in May, invited by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

According to Martí Noticias, which reported having access to internal documents from the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX), the visit was confirmed by the FAA, but they declined to provide details about the Cuban officials’ itinerary.

“The meeting took place in May, but you’ll have to contact Cuban authorities to obtain information about their itineraries,” the FAA stated in a brief communication.

The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not respond to the media’s request for comments.

Based on the obtained documents, the FAA invited officials from the Cuban regime to the Miami Route Air Traffic Control Center in Florida as part of the “Miami/Havana and Houston/Havana Operation Agreement.”

In an official note sent to the U.S. Embassy in Havana, MINREX stated that during the meeting, a “Letter of Agreements” on air traffic control between the FAA and the Cuban Institute of Civil Aeronautics (IACC) would be signed.

According to U.S. officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to disclose conversations between the two countries, the invitation to the Cubans aimed to “discuss the continuous safe and efficient movement of aircraft” between the two American terminals and Cuba.

A delegation of 15 U.S. officials, including executives from Miami and Houston airports responsible for Airspace Support and Procedures, as well as representatives from the FAA’s Western Hemisphere Office and International Affairs Office, welcomed the Cubans, as Martí Noticias learned from U.S. officials.

Once again we see the Biden administration opening the door to sworn enemies of the United States. While the Cuban officials were given the red carpet treatment, no U.S. official would ever be allowed to tour or even get close to sensitive or secure areas in communist Cuba.

This policy of appeasement continues the legacy of Obama’s failed Cuba policy, where the Castro dictatorship demands unilateral concessions and the U.S. happily surrenders.
