In the November 2024 election in Florida, Amendment 3 is an attempt to make weed legal in Florida

It's hard to have any sort of conversation about this with people I know because they automatically jump to the conclusion I'm judging them, think I'm superior because I dont' smoke it. Doesn't matter how indirect or gentle I am.
ransomnote: You know, I just read some really sad news about how Colorado's weed laws are impacting high school students too young to buy it. Talk about unintended consequences!
them: Why are you blaming high school students' issues on legal, law abiding weed users?

I've posted articles which talk about rise in crime ('unlicensed weed growers') and kids in highschool too high to study but not reported to police, instead kept at school so no one gets the impression that weed is reaching them.
I think the level of angry responses I get is equivalent to early Q days. You can't say there are ANY negative consequences.
Same with porn - 2 of my friends essentially lost their husbands as those men became so absorbed with limitless porn they had no more time for their children, and eventually their wives. Oh and then their relatives were catty to the women, sneering that they 'failed' in their marriages somehow (not a good wife).
Does anyone believe the hyper sexuallization of children via online porn is good for them? Even if you take their phone they hang out with kids who have access. Some teenagers are naturally intrigued and prefer 'adult entertainment' to Algebra - who could have seen that coming? /s
I know it's just a piece of the puzzle of the attack on our kids, but our society shouldn't help furnish attackers with resources.
YES.
the victims are the children of these potheads. I think it’s the same as having an alcoholic parent.
