I knew from the get go that there was no way I would EVER buy an electric car.
I bought what is probably my last car, a new, gas-powered Honda Accord, about 3 years ago now. Like prior Toyotas I have owned, it was well-built, affordable, but just a little short on the interior room I might want (which only really matters on long trips, which I expect to be taking fewer of).
The technology may eventually get to the point where electric vehicles truly are competitive with gas vehicles. Just not in my lifetime (I am 64).
I always do the opposite of what Joe Biden and the Demos would have me do. It seems to be serving me well.
